Cast of ‘Gold and Earth’, then and now

iFilm English TV channel is set to air Abbas Rafei’s movie ‘Gold and Earth’ this weekend. Here is how the movie’s cast looks like now.

The cast members of ‘Gold and Earth’, which was made some 15 years ago, include Hamed Behdad, Azita Hajiyan, Hossein Yari, and Amir-Mohammad Zand.

1- Hamed Behdad

You may also know the 49-year-old actor for his role in the movie ‘Orange Suit’, which was previously aired on iFilm English.

2- Azita Hajiyan

The 65-year-old actress also played a memorable role in iFilm series ‘Kimiya’. She has two daughters, Mehraveh and Melika Sharifinia, who are also actresses.

3- Hossein Yari

The 55-year-old actor has gained fame since 2002 when he appeared in 'The Tenth Night', which also aired on iFilm.

His works that were also broadcast on iFilm include 'Saint Mary', 'The Men of Angelos' and 'Dark Intelligence'.

5- Amir-Mohammad Zand

Zand, 44, also appeared in iFilm series ‘It was an Angel’, ‘Operation 125 (2)’, and ‘Setayesh (2)’.

‘Gold and Earth’ will be aired on iFilm on Saturday at 22:00 GMT.

“The revolution has begun. It is time for Imam Khomeini to return and the Shah to leave. But a military coup d'état is emerging; sons are becoming men and men are being tortured. Time is running out and there is something that must be delivered to Imam Khomeini in Paris before it gets too late,” a synopsis for the film reads.
